What would a sports club be without it's bar? Our members and invited guests benefit from our very well stocked, fully licensed bar which is generally open: 

• Tue - Fri 5pm to 9.30pm, 
• Sat 3pm to 7pm,

• Sun 3pm to 5pm only on Tennis Seniors HB club days and other special events
• Espresso coffees, hot chocolate and speciality teas available Tue - Sat, 9am -12am​

Function Hire

​We do allow our members, advertisers and affliated persons the use of our facilities for private functions such as Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, End of Year Business Drinks, Team Building Excercises etc.  This is subject to prior agreement with the Bar Manager.  Generally speaking, the only cost incurred is the hire of a trained bar person which is payable at the rate of $30 per hour (larger functions may require 2 bar persons).  That price includes use of our kitchen, appliances and BBQ if required.  Use of our sporting facilities for private functions i.e Tennis, Squash and Petanque may also be included if available.   Speak to Gary on 021 1254368 or email [email protected]

Bar Renovation

​The Bar itself was fully re-designed and renovated at the start of 2019 by club member couple Mike Moss and Dymphi Van der Linden alongside many other club volunteers that offered their skills to the project.  As well as a  new bar, the lounge now features a large screen projector and hi-spec surround sound system, making it the the ideal place to take in those live TV sporting events.
