Our 9 Petanque terrains have been recently resurfaced, 5 are lime sand while the other 4 are now pea metal.  Futher improvements to the playing arena are ongoing. 
Our players enjoy club day participation, regular club/district competitions and an annual open triples tournament.

​CLUB DAY

Club day is on Saturday from 1pm come rain or shine.
Mid-week club petanque is played on a Wednesday afternoon from 1pm.
Visitors very welcome to play on club days.
Club boules sets are available for newcomers.
The Club holds one sponsored tournament each year for more serious players.
Members can participate in regular competitions all year round.

HB AUTUMN TRIPLES

The HB Autumn Triples is the club's flagship annual open Petanque tournament played in May each year.  ​2026's event, again,  attracted a very strong field of contestants from around the country .   Amongst the teams there where this year’s national champions, previous national title holders and also international representatives which led to another fantastic competition.
