HBLTS has three squash courts overlooked by a modern viewing/scoring gallery. Court 2 boasts a high spec camera for streaming of big matches to our Youtube channel so that you can follow the action live online.

BOOKING
Both members and non-members can now book squash courts online through the same online booking system. Members will be issued with a login code upon signup which allow for booking free of charge. It is user friendly and straight forward to use. You check to see if any courts are free, non-members pay via credit/debit card to book and turn up for a game. Just Pay2Play !
CLUB DAY
Club Day is on Saturday from 3.15pm, February until November.
We also have Ladies Night on Tuesday nights for a six week prior to the commencement of Ladies Interclub (March/April) . Please contact the Squash Club Captain for more details.

DISTRICT INTERCLUB COMPETITIONS
Interclub competitions, Ladies teams (Tuesday's) and Mixed teams (Wednesday's) run from early May until mid August each year. Generally split into divisions of 6/8 based on seeding.

SUMMER INTRACLUB LEAGUE
A fun, off-season, semi-competitive league for members which runs for 5 weeks before the Christmas break and then again for a further 5 weeks after the holidays. Participants are split into six teams and then battle it out for league placement.
JUNIORS
We have a thriving junior squash programme which meets on Friday nights March through to September (school terms only) each year from 5.30 to 7.00pm.
Sessions are supervised and coaching provided. It's a fun and cheap activity. Free to members and only $2 to non-members. Racquets can be provided.
A junior wanting to play tournaments will be given a “J” grade. Beginners start at J 5 and progress through to J1 by winning matches at tournaments held throughout the squash season.
A "J grade" section is sometimes attached to our open tournaments.

ELIMINATIONS & NATIONALS
Teams representing the Club are entered in the District Eliminations in appropriate grades for Men and Ladies to go forward to represent Squash Eastern at the National finals.
The Eliminations are held in June /July at various Clubs in the Squash Eastern region and the National finals at different clubs throughout New Zealand in August or September each year.
In 2015 HBLTS were National Women’s D Grade team champions and our E Grade men were champions in 2019. If you are interested in being part of a team, please contact Squash Club Captain.

ANNUAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS
Club champs competitions will usually take over a two week period, around September of each year, and is open to any squash member playing at any level. All grade divisions competed for in both Mens and Womens titles.

HBLTS SINGLES TOURNAMENT ENTRY
Please enter our singles tournaments through isquash (www.squash.org.nz).
In order to do this you must already have a user name and password, and been allocated a grade.
Pay your entry fee before your first game and go in the draw to win your entry fee back. All players scheduled for 3 games
NZSRA Tournament conditions apply. Ball as per NZSRA
